You can see what the fast-track legislation would look like if the centre-left parties wrote it by reading the legislation they wrote for fast track during COVID and in the Natural and Built Environment Act 2019 (now repealed).
Maybe we start a ‘Give a Little’ page to raise funds to supply free copies of this book to every central and local government representative? But I don’t think many of them read. They certainly don’t listen😜
There's good elements to this but it's incredibly important it's done in a way that doesn't further inequality or the climate crisis. The Fast Track legislation will do so much environmental damage and by giving profits to private companies, inequality remains which means society stays angry and divided.
There's definitely potential here but the devil, as always, is in the details.
I can't see parties of the left making any progress until they drop their obsessions with woke ideology. And Palestine. People don't vote on the basis of that nonsense, but they are not going to say so.
Gosh Harold…. People absolutely do vote with their “woke” ideology…. Which the definition in Webster is “ being aware of and actively attentive to important societal facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice)” And the issue of Palestine is most certainly not nonsense.

Well, you’ve convinced me it’s worth a read. Thanks Jesse.
Gr8 post!

Very useful thanks Jesse. I’ll read the book. I need some good talking points.

Palestine, the murder of 40,000+ people--nonsense???!!!
